Thesis statement : Having a special friend in the same class is very interesting.Topic sentences : 1. We can work together with our couple to do task which are given by the teacher.2. We can know more about our couple’s habits because we can meet her/him everyday especially in class.3. We can know our couple’s relationship with her/his friend.Having a special friend in the same class‘Tak kenal maka tak sayang”. People in Indonesia sometime say like that to their new partner when they want to get more information from them. It’s nice if we can know everyone’s personality. But it’s impossible because we are not an angel. For a couple who are falling in love sometime get troubles because haven’t or even don’t know about their couple personality. The student couples usually try to have the same class with their couple to avoid that problem. Apparently having a special friend in the same class could be very interesting.If we are in the same class with our special friend off course directly we can work with her/him to study and do task which are given by our teachers. We have more chance to share our problems especially about our lessons. When we have a problem, we can ask her/him to help us. If unfortunately we forgot our task, our couple would remain us about it. In addition it can improve or mark in class.When we are in the same class with our couple we can know more about our couple habits because we can meet her/him everyday especially in class. Most of couple always tries to cover their bad attitudes. But sometime at last it becomes a serious problem because they late to know who their couple are. In class, we can know our couple’s bad habit too. We can see directly our couple is a boring person or not. We also can know our couple is a diligent or a lazy person from their attitudes in class.It also interesting to knowing their relationship with other friends. We can see their personality when they are in front of their friends, if our couple is a good person or not. By knowing our couple’s relationship we can compare with our personalities. So we also can decide if our couple is a suitable couple for us or not. Knowing our couple’s habits and personalities can help us to find the best way to keep our relationship with them. If there is something wrong with our relationship with our couple, our knowledge about our couple’s personality can help us to solve our problems. Having a same class with our special friend and trying to be the best classmate could be interesting.

My name is Pringgo Widagdo Rahardi Putra. I was born in Jepara. I’m 19 years old. I am a college student of Satya Wacana Christian University. I like to read, especially poems, because I can improve my knowledge about language with it. I am a typically different with other person because I rather chosen a quite places than crowded places.

Task 1
My name is Wasti Darmayanti. I was born in Surabaya the second big city after Jakarta. My favorite activities that I do in the spare time are listening to the music or go for window shopping. My Favorite music is R & B and pop love songs. My ambition in the future is to be an English teacher for elementary school. It is inspired by my parents because I thing become a teacher is an honor duty to become a companion to the other to become smart. The last I really want to accomplish my parents dreams to make them happy in their old times.
Task 2
Using blogs in a writing course is an interesting and terrifying experience. I have ever heard a word blogs, but I do not know what the use of it. I realize that in a modern era right now I have to know but in the other hand I am afraid when my writing is read by other people. Right now people around the world will read and give a comment about it. Yet right now I have to learn to listen and accept other people opinion to become a good writer.

Outline;
Thesis statement: Nowadays, boys are more pay attention for their appearance.
Topic sentence:
- Boys are pay attention for their appearance to be more attractive.
- They are willing to push traditional boundaries about become beautiful.
- Besides that they just want to keep their appearance looks good.
Conclusion: there is no wrong or right when boys or girls want to keep their appearance, so do not judge people from their outer.

Andry: introduction & opinion
My name is andry, I 21 years old. I live at Veteran Street. I’m not like an ordinary college student. You think that I’m big headed, I’m different because if ordinary student busy with their task I’m not. I just have fun with my fantasy. In the night while they study I prefer go to my friends house and played all night. In the morning they had already in the campus I still under my blanket and had party in my dreamland. It all my bad habit I think. In all my bad things I had little hobbies that make me alive and still had plan for the future. I like graphic design and basketball. Just two of that that can make me survive from the stressing moment of being student. At noon I always played basketball with my friends, off course if I’m not tired and sleep. I do it everyday. After that in the night after I played in my friend’s house I make design until dawn, if my eyes still open. I designed for fun and I made it for my friends or people who want me to designing something. Like clothing, picture, web etc. I can make money too from that. But in all of that’s I still think about my study too, even I rarely study. I wish that I can graduate soon and had a good mark. It just can happen only in my dreams.
In my opinion using blogs in writing course is kindda good things. I agree about the aim of using blogs can give experience of having a wider audience rather just the teacher that can only see the writing. And using blogs can give us more knowledge about writing skills that others people had, not just other people but people around the world, because we globally connected in the internet. We can also learn toward the comments about our blogs from others.
Tribuwana: introduction, opinion & outline
Hello..
I am Wana (Tribuwana). I am studying in Faculty of language and literature in SWCU in Salatiga now. I want to be a teacher and a journalist one day. I like sport, listening music and watching television. I'm happy when I found someone who like to talk about religi, pshycology and phylosofy. I live in a boarding house. In addition, I always miss my parents, and my sisters. Especially, my favorite foods. my main hobby is snacking, so if you come to my boarding house it would be better if you bring some snack ok. I thing it is a good idea:}
Using blog in a writing class is a new experience for me. Actually, it is interesting. In addition I can learn more how to writing well from your comment or critisms. I like to write a letter to my parents in Tegal and I really enjoy it. Yet, it is different if I have to write in “blog”. I hope there is always somebody who would like to give me a/some comment or “good” critism. So don't forget to give me critism or comment ok:) I appreciate it.

The first and second tasks
Well, this morning I broke a nerve-racking news to the students of this class: they have to post their essay in this blog. That, I think, almost sent everyone to an instant heart attack :) because none of the students in the class had an experience of blogging before.
Yet, I'm so proud of my students because they took the challenge bravely, and I'm positive in any ways that they will produce interesting pieces of writing.
The first task that I set for them is to write a paragraph of their introduction containing their bio and a paragraph expressing their opinion of the use of blogging to publish their writing piece. The second task is an outline of their five paragraph essay, containing a thesis statement and three topic sentences. The deadline is this Friday at 10 AM (West Indonesian Time, GMT +7). Good luck, everyone!
To our curious, faithful and critical readers, we will appreciate if you can leave your constructive comments to the students' postings. They will have to write the essay on Wednesday next week at 4 - 6 PM, so we expect to get your comments by Sunday/Monday.
